Scuba diving is possible with experienced instructors from the Moldova Diving Federation and Underwater World Club. Anyone can join the group or arrange individual lessons. The initial practice is organized in water pools. All equipment for the training is provided by the federation. The training course with internationally recognized certification costs 250 euro. Several sports are being thought and practiced: sport diving, apnea, aquathlon, underwater fishing and hunting. Sometime the federation organizes diving session in Crimea and/or Egypt.
Skydiving is possible at two locations in Moldova. From the Vadul lui Voda airfield, visitors can schedule single or tandem jumps through the Moldovan skydivers’ club on most weekends (weather permitting). A individual jump from 800 m costs aprx. 50 euro and a tandem jump from 3000 meters costs aprx. 190 euro. Equipment is provided by the club and a short training before the jumping.
